Evening of Remembrance

November 7, 2024

Dear Parents/Guardians

Sadly, over the years, we have lost some of our past pupils and past staff, many gone before their time.  May they rest in peace.

We are having a special Evening of Remembrance in the school Study Hall on Wednesday 20th November at 7.30pm.  The evening will begin with a Mass of Remembrance followed by a social gathering giving past pupils the chance to meet up with old friends, classmates and former teachers and remember those no longer with us and days gone by.  The Mass will be celebrated by Fr. John Kelly, former chaplain in Ardscoil Rís.

All past pupils are warmly invited to attend.  It would assist us greatly in our planning and logistics if you could let us know by a simple sending a message to admin@ardscoilris.com, if you wish to attend.

If you are the family of one of our past pupils who has passed away, we send our heartfelt condolences to you on your loss.  If you feel up to it, we would be pleased if you could let us know so that we could add the name of your loved one to our Book of Remembrance.

As long as we live, they too will live; for they are now a part of us as we remember them.

Yours sincerely

John McHugh

Principal
