ASR Under 16 Badminton team took on Mount Temple yesterday morning.
P. Foley started things off as our number one with a nearly flawless performance, taking pressure off of his teammates. Next up, C. Pamplona trades shots with his opponent, but eventually Mount Temple eventually won this one. G. Dooley and M. Bannon moved onto the courts. G. Dooley won his match with ease. M. Bannon made a remarkable comeback after being behind for most of the match to win out 30-28.
This win granted Ardscoil Rís an advantage going into the doubles matches.
P. Foley and M. Bannon hop into a doubles match and get the result we needed for the win. We finished out the last game with a loss but won overall with some great battles.
